Book Duke Today

Everyone faces adversity in their lifetime, but it is what they do in those moments that can have a positive impact on the rest of their life. Duke Pieper is an example of this, with just a five percent change of living through a difficult brain surgery and facing many more life-threatening obstacles along the way, Duke was able to survive through these challenges and find a way to make a life changing event into something positive. Duke will talk about his story, but also how his attitude and outlook changed the way he saw his own situation through his keys for survival. Duke shares some of these and explains ways in which he has applied them to not only his own life, but how others can apply them to their own lives. Book Duke today and start having your life and outlook changed.

The Brain Alliance Walk for Thought

September 17, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Join Duke Pieper and his foundation in The Walk for Thought.

Bring your family, friends, loved ones and co-workers to the 2016 Walk for Thought and celebrate Minnesota’s dynamic brain injury community! Thousands of individuals have experienced brain injury but they’ve also experienced many successes. When you join the Walk, you are joining them along with their families, friends and the professionals who work with them in honoring the personal journeys of so many amazing Minnesotans as well as the loved ones we’ve lost along the way.

This year, recruit at least one new member to your team! These new community members will show that brain injury impacts everyone, whether they have a brain injury or not and that our community can meet any challenge with awareness, advocacy and action. KFAN radio host Paul Allen and NFL Hall of Famer, former Viking Randall McDaniel, Fox9 anchor and reporter Tim Blotz and others will be part of the Twin Cities pre-Walk program beginning at 9:45 a.m.
